Newsweek saves the news
In every Newsweek issue there's always a section called "Perspectives" which is a collection of quotes and cartoons that have to do with that week's news. It sums it the week up pretty nicely, and it's usually got at least one quote that is either ridiculous or hilarious, or in this case, both.
"Hate language is usually the early-warning signal that could lead to hate-motivated violence. And before that happens, we try to nip it in the bud." Provincetown, Mass., Town Manager Keith Bergman, concerned about a recent reports of gay residents' slurring heterosexuals by calling them "breeders"
Now that's what I call a slur!
